My name is Honey Sanderson and I strive to make a difference in children's lives. I have always had an interest in working with children. I began persuing my dreams when I was in high school and have now been studying teaching for 6 years. I began with studying my Certificate 3 in Children Services at The Gordon Tafe and am now looking to graduate my Bachelor of Education (Primary) at the end of 2016 from Deakin University.

Through my professional practicums and volunteer experiences, I have been given the opportunity to observe positive teaching practices and implement these within my teaching. Through these experiences, I have been able to grow and develop my own sense of identity as a progressive 21st Century teacher.

I have always had a huge passion and drive for differentiated learning for students. My goal is to make all lessons engaging and authentic and I love to use my outgoing and enthusiastic personality to encourage the students to be themselves. I aspire to create a comfortable learning environment, where students feel confident and encouraged to achieve their goals. I love working in a team environment and collaborating with my colleagues to reflect on my own teaching practices.
I pride myself on my ability to develop deep connections with the students and to use this strength to create behaviour management programs that suit the children's behaviour and interests.
The students are the centre of everything.
